Environmental Management Policy

Fortune Parts Industry Public Company Limited, a manufacturer and designer of complete automotive parts, is committed to preventing and reducing pollution caused by its normal business operations, including product responsibility, climate change, ecosystem protection, biodiversity, and low-carbon activities. This commitment is an integral part of the company’s business operations and is the direct responsibility of all senior management. In order to provide guidance in this area, the company hereby announces its Environmental Policy as follows:

1. Compliance: To comply with all applicable laws, customer requirements, and regulations related to an effective environmental management system. This includes providing adequate resources and information to achieve the objectives and goals of the environmental management system and to maintain it at both local and national levels. The company will control, prevent, and treat pollution to minimize its environmental impact.

2. Continuous Improvement: To support the continuous improvement of the environmental management system by providing the necessary resources to control, prevent, and mitigate the environmental impacts of business operations. This includes emergency planning and the use of appropriate technology to use resources efficiently throughout the product life cycle. This is the responsibility of all employees.

3. Resource Efficiency: To support the efficient use of natural resources to achieve environmental balance. This includes promoting waste and industrial wastewater reduction through the 7Rs strategy: Replacement, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Recovery, and Remanufacture. The goal is to add value to waste and maximize its utilization.

4. Communication and Awareness: To communicate, campaign, promote, and raise awareness among stakeholders of their responsibility for the environmental impacts of business operations, climate change, greenhouse gas emission reduction, nature conservation, and environmental protection. This will lead to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

5. Objectives, Strategies, Plans, and Goals: To establish objectives, strategies, plans, and goals for environmental work, climate change, and greenhouse gas emission reduction. The company will monitor and review its performance and promote continuous improvement in the development of a low-carbon business.

Compliance

All employees of the company at all levels, as well as contractors and partners, must strictly adhere to the company’s environmental policy in implementing this policy in their operations and are ready to disclose it to the general public.

Effective Date

This policy is effective from July 17, 2024.
